OUT OF SCHOOL
Marokko, Dänemark 2026 – Director: Hind Bensari – Original language: Other, Arabic – Subtitles: English – Length: 70 min.
Too old for school and too young for a job. Mokari is stuck in the Moroccan village of Oulghazi. His large family does not have the money to send the youngest children to secondary school, and the boy would much rather earn some money anyway. Hind Bensari poignantly captures this coming of age story set among majestic mountain ranges. A.M.H.
