A police station in northern India operates a women's helpline run by policewomen for women. Couples come in with complaints ranging from violence or if their relationship is in crisis for other reasons. A counselling service aims to mediate between the married couples. Biography

Shashwati Talukdar studied in New Delhi and Philadelphia, where she began her career on the Michael Moore Live Show. She has worked on projects for BCC, HBO and Sundance TV. Her documentaries deal with cultural identity.

Cheryl Hess is a documentary filmmaker based in Philadelphia. Her recent work includes PAST/PRESENCE: SAVING THE SPRING GARDEN SCHOOL which was the grand prize winner in the 2018 AIA Film Challenge.
