SOLIDARITY
Germany, Switzerland 2025 – Director: David Bernet – Original language: Arabic, English, French, German, Polish, Ukrainian – Subtitles: English – Length: 90 min.
Solidarity is well intended but not always well implemented. Following on from DEMOCRACY, David Bernet once again addresses a social value that seems non-negotiable. The film’s central theme is refugee policy, which is illuminated using Belarus, Ukraine and Gaza/Israel as examples and contextualised by experts as well as those personally affected. Anja Klauck
