The mountain is calling! Year round, adventurers and tourists make endless pilgrimages to the summits. In recent decades, mass tourism in the Alps has left an indelible mark on the mountain region. BERGFAHRT portrays different people contemplating the essence of the mountains and their appeal. This raises the question, is there anything left to be salvaged by a critical rethinking? Eva Weinmann
