There is no place for Adelina, a trans woman, in her Georgian village. She sets out to start a new life in Vienna. Between fear, dreams, and self-assertion, she shapes her identity and fights to claim her space. Biography
Rati Tsiteladze is a filmmaker and alumnus of Locarno Academy, TIFF Filmmaker Lab, Berlinale Talents, and Cannes Résidence. His shorts have won over 50 awards and screened at more than 300 festivals worldwide, including Hong Kong, Krakow, Tallinn Black Nights, Melbourne, and Locarno. His acclaimed short PRISONER OF SOCIETY (2018) won multiple Oscar-qualifying awards and was nominated for the European Film Academy Award.Tsiteladze received the Moulin d’Andé Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and at the Toronto International Film Festival, he received the HFPA Film Independent Award presented by the Golden Globes.
