It all starts with a group of skateboarding friends. Philip and Jasmine get to know each other and come up with the idea of filming themselves and their coming of age experience in Stockholm. Biography
Lia Hietala, born in Stockholm, primarily bases her work there. Her first short film, IF I SAY NO (2016), was financed in Norway and won the Springbett Grant from the Nordnorsk Film Center, which led to her second short film, MY GAY SISTER (2017), which won the Teddy Award for Best Short Film at the Berlinale. In 2020, her debut film ALWAYS AMBER premiered at the Berlinale and was named Best Feature Film at the Seoul International Women's Film Festival and Best Documentary at the Lovers Film Festival in Italy. In 2021, she presented her third short film, NIGHT SHIFT.
Hannah Reinikainen, born in Stockholm, studied journalism and documentary filmmaking. She also celebrated the premiere of ALWAYS AMBER at the Berlinale and is currently developing her first feature film, SPIT.
