Biography

Tom Fassaert is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, lecturer, and graduate of the Dutch Film Academy. His films are characterised by their close proximity to the protagonists and their tragicomic view of family, systemic patterns and transgenerational trauma. Those who saw A FAMILY AFFAIR at DOK.fest Munich in 2016 will recognise some familiar faces in BETWEEN BROTHERS.
