Biography

Mark Maina studied computer science at the University of Nairobi and film at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His short film NEOPHOBIA premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. He founded the film and post-production company MGreen Entertainment in Nairobi.

Co-director Nick Wambugu (1992–2026) was a Kenyan filmmaker, producer and cinematographer. He studied film at the Cinemadamare Film Institute in Italy and established the production company Folklore Films in Nairobi.
