Festive Opening of the 41st DOK.fest München
As in previous years, the festive opening of DOK.fest München will take place in the magnificent hall of the Deutsches Theater, which accommodates up to 1,400 guests. You can buy a ticket here as well as directly at the Deutsches Theater.
Please note: Online ticket sales for this event end two hours before the start of the film. As long as tickets are still available, you are welcome to purchase them at the box office.

Sandra Hüller portrays Ingeborg Bachmann on an imaginary day in Rome. Regina Schilling’s hybrid film weaves together reenactments, archival footage, and Bachmann’s own writings into a portrait that offers a refreshing new perspective on the author and positions her writings as a reference point in current debates on gender relations and power. Biography
Regina Schilling lives and works in Cologne and Berlin. She studied film directing at the HFF Munich and produces her films through zero one film. Among various awards, she has won two Grimme Awards and the German Television Award.
