Jens Schanze follows negotiations over mining and extraction rights while also drawing on the words of an indigenous chronicler from 1615. Biography 

Jens Schanze is a German filmmaker. He shot his first film in Bolivia in 1994 and studied at the HFF Munich. In 2002, he founded the production company Mascha Film. He has received the Bavarian Film Award several times for his films.
