Biography Itab Azzam

Itab Azzam, who was born in Syria, now lives in London. She is an award-winning filmmaker, producer and humanitarian activist. Through her initiative ‘Film for Freedom’, Azzam has set up a filmmaking training programme for Syrian women refugees.

Biography Jack MacInnes

Jack MacInnes’ work has been recognised with Emmy, BAFTA, Peabody, Grierson and Prix Italia awards. The filmmaker was born and raised in London. He moved to Damascus, where he met and married Itab Azzam.
