HUNDERTZWÖLF

Deutschland 2026 – Director: August Pflugfelder – Original language: German – Subtitles: English – Length: 80 min.

Who picks up when you dial 112? In Berlin, it’s the staff at the fire department’s massive emergency call center. Newcomers are finding their way or giving up, while veterans provide support from the background. Anything can happen at any moment. And then New Year’s Eve arrives. A focused, intimate direct-cinema production, a phone-based portrayal of the city. Y.F.

Biography

August Pflugfelder was born in Prien am Chiemsee. He first studied photography at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and then documentary filmmaking at the HFF in Munich. His documentary films have been featured at numerous festivals.
