In 2010 a Buenos Aires judge issued several international arrest warrants against high-ranking representatives of the Franco dictatorship in court proceedings that became known as the “Argentinian Trials.” This was something completely new – due to the “Amnesty Law,” all the perpetrators had remained at large until then. The film follows the attempts to finally bring them to justice. Samay Claro

Lucía Palacios

Lucía Palacios is a film director and label maker. After studying film in Madrid, she worked in New York between 1995 and 2003, where, alongside her work as a TV news journalist, she began her first cinematic works and, with her partner Dietmar Post, founded the production company Play Loud! Productions, which has also functioned as a label since 2006. Since 2007 Palacios has also been running her own Spanish production company Lucía Palacios P.C.

Dietmar Post

Post studied theatre, film and television studies and Spanish philology in Berlin and Madrid. His first short film BOWL OF OATMEAL emerged at New York University, and his second short film CLOVEN HOOFED premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival. In 2008, Palacios and Post were the recipients of the most prestigious award in German television, the Grimme Prize, for their documentary MONKS: THE TRANSATLANTIC FEEDBACK.

Their films convey multiple perspectives on their subjects with in-depth interviews, allowing viewers to draw their own conclusions. Like many writers, labels and musicians, Post and Palacios release their films on their own film and music label.
