Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’Roll. For the Munich band “Shoot Dolores,” it’s rather a case of alcoholism, unemployment benefits and cancer. In the rehearsal room sludgy stoner rock à la “Queens of the Stone Age” dominates the atmosphere. Outside of this shared sanctuary each of the four band members struggles with their own specific problems. The long-term documentary project NICHT DAS LEBEN accompanies them through highs and lows, onto the stage and into the delivery room.
