DOK.forum is delighted to come together with African Encounters to have an interactive session that puts the focus on collaboration in documentary filmmaking. What value does (intercultural) co-creation add to the filming process and the film itself? And what does co-creation mean for co-production? Guest filmmakers will enter into a dialogue with the participants and report on their experiences.

Marion ist freiberufliche Projektmanagerin und Beraterin für Einzelpersonen und Organisationen. Marion ist Gründungs-und Vorstandsmitglied der Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) und Mitbegründerin von DOX BOX e.V., wo sie bis April 2020 verschiedene Positionen besetzte und die Projektleitung der internationalen Documentary Convention 2018 & 2019 innehatte. Marion ist Beraterin der Filmabteilung der DW Akademie und hat ihre Expertise in Projekte des Goethe-Instituts und der elbarlament GmbH eingebracht. Sie sitzt im Vorstand mehrerer Organisationen in der Filmwelt und ist Teil von Initiativen, die sich für Antirassismus, Gleichberechtigung, faire Arbeitsbedingungen und Repräsentation in der Film- und NGO-Branche sowie in der Gesellschaft insgesamt einsetzen.
