This film skilfully interlaces the biography of the most important Italian author with that of his literary character and uses interviews and archive footage to tell the story of his eventful life as a partisan in the second World War, a publishing editor, political writer and literary figure. Biography
After completing his studies at the London Film School, Duccio Chiarini founded the production company La Règle du Jeu. As a director, screenwriter and producer, he has made several short films, feature films and documentaries that have been shown and won awards at numerous international festivals.
