Julian Carrington

Julian Carrington is a independent consultant as well as a programmer at Toronto’s Planet In Focus Film Festival. Previously, he served as Senior Industry Manager at Hot Docs. In that role, he supported the administration of Hot Docs’ $13M portfolio of funds and oversaw programs at the annual Hot Docs conference and market, including the Distribution Rendezvous meeting program and the Doc Shop sales platform. Julian is also the founder of For Viola, a free, BIPOC-focused community screening series hosted at the Hot Docs Cinema.
