Gilad Baram (Born in Israel, based in Berlin) is a documentary filmmaker and producer. His directorial debut, the award-winning feature documentary, "Koudelka Shooting Holy Land" (2015, Revised 2019, Germany / Czech Rep., 76 Min.), was screened in prominent film festivals and in cultural events in over 60 countries and was purchased by major European broadcasters such as ZDF/Arte, SkyArte Italy, YLE, SRF and Czech Television. Baram’s second film, "The Disappeared" (2018, co-directed with Adam Kaplan, Germany / Israel 46 Min.), premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for awards at festivals such as CPH:DOX, BAFICI, Docaviv, First Look at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC and Frames of Representation in ICA London. The film was also nominated for the Israeli Documentary Award in the Short Documentary category.
