Miro Jelok

Miro Jelok (1987, Czechoslovakia) Miro graduated from the Documentary studio at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Kerekes studio). He's been working as a director, writer, editor and producer, he made a 52 min documentary for RTVS about women crossing the Schengen border looking for a better life (Promised land, please, get out!) His short story “Shhh!” was part of the feature film (Slovakia 2.0 premiered in Warsaw FF 2014). Miro was selected for this project as a promising director and found himself in the company of the 10 best directors in Slovakia.
