Sophie Ahrens

Sophie Ahrens (she/her, *1989 in London) is a producer based in Berlin and Bavaria. She studied Applied Media Economics in Hamburg and Berlin and graduated a Master course in Film and TV Production at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Her graduation film URBAN AMAZONS was awarded Best Graduation Film 2021 at the Swiss Culture Awards. In 2016 Sophie joined Schuldenberg Films where she produces fictional and documentary projects for cinema, TV and Web. In 2021 she participated in the Rotterdam Lab. Schuldenberg Films' feature film NEUBAU was recently awarded with the German Film Critics Award for best Debut film.
