Matthias Keller

Born in Bremen, Keller studied piano, music education and church music (Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Munich); he published the book "Stars and Sounds – film music, the 3rd cinematic dimension" (Bosse/Baerenreiter, Kassel) and is in charge of the weekly radio show "Cinema" on BR-Klassik. He is also producer/editor in charge of BR-Klassik for choral and sacred music and organ music. In film music he works regularly with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, the Münchner Symphoniker and many other ensembles. As a composer and arranger he was responsible for the music at the "Bayerischer Filmpreis" and wrote the finale of the stadium concert for the 2006 World Cup with Placido Domingo, Lang Lang, Zubin Mehta, Mariss Jansons and Christian Thielemann.
