Syed Jazib Ali

Syed Jazib Ali is a filmmaker, producer, and founder of Mudland, based in Amsterdam. His work focuses on borderland narratives, Indigenous knowledge systems, and the intersection of climate, culture, and political life. Through Mudland, he develops and produces films and cross-disciplinary projects connecting frontline communities with global platforms. His current work includes Earth Elders (in production) and No Road to Panjal (in development). His projects have been presented at DOK Co-Pro Market, Edinburgh Pitch, and Movies That Matter Impact Pitch. With a background in journalism and documentary practice, his producing is rooted in long-term engagement and ethical collaboration.
