Susan Mbogo

Susan Mbogo is the Executive Director at Docubox-East African Documentary Film Fund, where she leads fundraising, partnerships, and institutional growth. With experience in nonprofit management and film production, she has expertise in grants management, financial oversight, and program delivery. With a background in financial accounting and project management, she blends financial and creative insight. Her expertise spans roles as a production accountant, production manager, and line producer. In 2022, she produced her first short fiction film UNSPOKEN and earned a Creative Producing certificate from the New York Film Academy. She has served as a juror for multiple film festivals (Sharjah International Film Festival, Under Our Skin International Film Festival, and more).
