Thomas Slatter

Thomas Slatter is a film producer and curator based in Munich. After his first entrepreneurial experience in communications and marketing, he began his studies at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) with a scholarship from VFF, the German film and television producers' copyright collective. In 2024, he won the DOK.talent Award, which enabled the financing of his first feature-length documentary, POLITIK IST PERSÖNLICH (co-produced by ZDF and HFF). Through his own company, Sommer Slatter Film, and as programmer of the Zuger Filmtage film festival, he is actively involved in the film scene and advises the Munich-based film distributor Cine Global on acquisition and online communications.
