Oliver Grüttner

Oliver grew up trilingually in Berlin, Málaga, and Berkeley. After working in the film industry, he began studying directing at the DFFB. Alongside his studies, he worked as a first assistant director, among others on "Sound of Falling", and in writers’ rooms for series such as "Doppelhaushälfte" (ZDFneo). His film "Performer" was nominated in 2022 for the Förderpreis Deutsches Kino at the Munich Film Festival and received multiple awards during its festival run. He is currently in post-production on his debut feature film "Und keiner geht hin" (New Matter Films, ZDF – Das Kleine Fernsehspiel), which explores the International Legion in Ukraine on a fictional level.
