Marianna Tsatsou

Marianna Tsatsou is a Berlin-based Greek director and screenwriter. Her work explores intimate human stories with a strong narrative and sensibility. Her debut short documentary "No Man’s Sea" confronts the realities of migration across the Mediterranean Sea. She is currently working on her first feature documentary, "Celebration", and developing the script for the fiction feature "What Seahorses Do at Night". She completed a full-time screenwriting programme at Master School Drehbuch in Berlin and professional training in documentary practice. Her background as a published literary translator shapes her poetic approach to filmmaking.
