Magdalena Szymków

Magdalena Szymków is an internationally awarded film director of found footage essay films, where she combines the documentary tradition with the processing of archival materials. She’s a PhD academic lecturer at the Academy of Art in Poland, a chief of Experimental Film Faculty where she runs Found Footage Film Lab developing artistic projects based on research and experimental use of archives.
