Nicolás Gil Lavedra

Producer, screenwriter, and director. Berlinale Talent 2026. His first short film, Identidad Perdida (2007), competed at more than twenty festivals. In 2011, he released Verdades Verdaderas, based on the life of Estela de Carlotto. In 2014, he directed Fragmentos, and in 2015 he filmed an epilogue with Estela and her grandson Guido. In 2018, he released Las grietas de Jara and the special 24/42. In 2015, he co-founded Gaman Cine with Emiliano Torres. He co-produced Eami (Tiger Award, Rotterdam), and in 2024 he released Como el mar and the documentary Traslados, selected by the Argentine Academy to represent the country at San Sebastián and the Marché du Film in Cannes.
