Konstanze Speidel

Konstanze Speidel heads the documentary department at Flare Film, where she develops and produces documentary films and documentary series for national and international broadcasters, streaming platforms, and cinema. Her focus is on historical and socially relevant topics. Her documentary “Searching for Ingmar Bergman” by Margarethe von Trotta celebrated its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. Before joining Flare Film in 2023, she worked as Head of Development at Bavaria Film (Story House Productions). In 2025 she was nominated for the German Television Award in the category Best Documentary Series for “The Wagner Brothers: Two Brothers, One Dream".
