Julia Zantl

Head of DOK.forum (DOK.fest München)

Julia Zantl has been Head of DOK.forum since November 2025, responsible for its editorial direction and strategic development. Together with her team, she shapes the Marketplace and Perspectives programs. During her studies, she worked on film and TV projects, including at interscience film and Doc en stock, before becoming a freelance filmmaker. Since 2022, she has co-led the audience:first storytelling lab with Matthias Leitner and serves on various selection committees.
