Saif Chida

Saif Chida is a Tunisian director, born in Kef in 1990. In 2012, he participated in the creation of the association ACT Kef - Arts for Cinema and Theatre of Kef - of which he is artistic director in charge of activities related to cinema. He creates cultural programs in the schools of the Kef region and participates in the creation of several festivals (FCKEF, artistic caravan...). In 2015, self-taught, he directed his first short movie Macchabé, winner of the Jury Prize at the JCC as part of the "48h film Project". A year later, he directed Nagra, a short fiction movie selected in official competition at the festival "Tunisian short film night in Paris" and at the JCC in the "New Vision" section. In 2015, he starts a degree in writing and directing at ESAC, Tunis. In 2018, his graduation short movie Sidi is selected at the JCC in the section "Cinema Promise
