Fiona Gillies worked extensively in film & TV as an actor before becoming an independent film producer and co-founder of My SMASH Media. Fiona met fellow producer Christine Hartland on the Creative England Market Trader programme and in partnership with tech expert Mahesh Ramachandra, they founded My SMASH Media. Fiona produced THE BEAT BENEATH MY FEET which was in competition at the Berlin Film Festival and subsequently released worldwide. DUMMY, which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and BIFA nominated CITY SLACKER are available in over 40 countries worldwide. She received funding from Creative England & BFI for SOME SWEET OBLIVIOUS ANTIDOTE starring Sir Lenny Henry and Wumni Mosaku. My SMASH Media website is here and 90 second video is here.
