Dorothea Schiebel

Dorothea graduated with a degree in translation & simultaneous interpretation from the University of Applied Sciences Munich after starting her international life in 1998 with a year abroad in Boston, USA. After several interpretation jobs for Documentary Campus during the Open Training Sessions from 2001 onwards, Dorothea joined the international non-profit organization in 2004. Until 2009, she worked as Event Coordinator for the Documentary Campus Masterschool and Industry Events. Since 2010, she manages the Crossing Borders Program which has so far taken place in China, Malaysia, South Korea and Indonesia. Dorothea was also responsible for the conceptional development and organization of the MENA Program in Egypt and Tunisia (2012-2014). Currently, she is involved in developing a tailor-made workshop program for Latin America.
