Patrik Thomas

Patrik Thomas (*1986) is a filmmaker, media artist, and educator based in Munich. He is the founder and artistic director of Ciné Vélo Cité, a mobile bicycle cinema and film laboratory, which became an official open-air venue of Dok.Fest Munich in 2025. The project collaborates with Münchner Kammerspiele, the Goethe-Institut, Sammlung Brandhorst, and the University of Applied Sciences Munich, where Thomas holds a lectureship in film and public space. His feature documentary BOALÂNDIA premiered at the International Film Festival São Paulo in 2024. His short film TAIWASTE received the FFF Award at the Kurzfilmwoche Regensburg. He is currently developing his second feature film, ANGRA.
