Tamer Nady

Tamer Nady is an Egyptian filmmaker working across cinema and moving image practices, engaging with questions of medium, identity, and history. His work as a producer, cinematographer, and editor has been screened and awarded at major international festivals and institutions, including Visions du Réel, Berlinale, Rotterdam, and the Venice Biennale. His credits include Fiancées (2019), The Tedious Tour of M (2023), and I Am Hymns of the New Temples (2023). Alongside his practice, he works as a film lecturer, mentors emerging filmmakers, and serves on selection committees within leading film schools. He is a EURODOC member, BIPOC EuroDoc Cluster Lead, and co-founder of Cellar Door Studios in Cairo.
