Susann Knießner

Susann Knießner has been working in the international film sector for many years, with a focus on production, film funding, and strategic project support. She spent seven years as a producer at Wim Wenders’ production company Road Movies, where she gained extensive experience in international production contexts, financing, and rights structures. She now works as Fund Coordinator at the Berlinale World Cinema Fund, accompanying projects at different stages and supporting the implementation of WCF funding. In addition, she contributes to the conceptual development of new models for the sustainable visibility and circulation of films, bringing in her expertise in funding frameworks, rights policy, and long-term strategies for international cinema.
