Martin Prinoth

TÒ SU is a German-Italian duo formed by Martina Mahlknecht and Martin Prinoth. Their work operates at the intersection of visual genres and narrative formats, exploring transcultural spaces while challenging Eurocentric perspectives. Collaborating with artists, scientists, and people from diverse everyday contexts, TÒ SU creates research-based films, theater performances, and multimedia installations. The name “TÒ SU” comes from Rhaeto-Romanic, a language spoken by a small Alpine community in northern Italy, and means “to record,” “to document,” and “to include.”
