Matthias Zuber

Matthias Zuber worked from 1997 to 2020 as creative producer, author, dop and editor for documentaries. His films about a girl on a dumpsite in Cebu, a German-Russian sniper in Donezk or a Russian female prisoner, who tried to become a pop sta rer some of the productions which were shown on German TV. He is co-author of a film about Hildegard Knef „A Woman And A Half“. His film „German Souls“ about the cult „Colonia Dignidad“ in Chile was introduced to festivals worldwide. From 2020 to 2024 he worked as a editor in chief for several TV broadcaster. He also produces music videos and was author the graphic novel "Temple of Refuge“. Since 2000 he is teaching at journalistic academies. And now he is back in the freelance world producing some brand new stuff.
