Tobias Sauer was born in Fulda, Germany. He studied at the art school in Kassel. His films have been screened at numerous festivals and have won awards, including at Lichter Filmfest Frankfurt. “The Kafka Conference” (2021), which won the Hessian Film Prize, was his first feature-length documentary. He is a member of the selection committee for Queerfilmfest Kassel.
