Soraya Szendi

Born in Vienna (2001), Soraya Szendi works in film production in Germany and Austria. Since 2022, she has been studying Film Production at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, specialising in Executive and Line Producing. She has produced a wide range of commercial, documentary, and narrative short films — including "Die lauteste Zeit" (FABW & SWR), "Eden", and "Rettergut – What was I made for?". In 2024, she produced her first feature film "Sieben Tage Februar" (Wood Water Films GmbH), subsequently working as Production Coordinator on the series "House of Yang" (Wood Water Films GmbH) and as 1st Assistant Director on the German-Faroese theatrical feature film "Verdandi: Land of Maybe" (Elfenholz film GmbH).
