Rebecca Hirneise

Rebecca Hirneise grew up in the small town Mühlacker in Southern Germany and has now been living and working in Vienna for ten years. She has previously worked in documentary and feature film as well as experimental film. After training as a photographer, Rebecca Hirneise studied media art at the University of Arts and Design in Karlsruhe and directing and screenwriting at the Vienna Film Academy. After numerous collaborations with other filmmakers, she completed her first feature-length feature documentary ZWISCHEN UNS GOTT in 2024, for which she worked as a writer, producer and director.
