Indira Geisel, born 1996 and raised in Berlin, spent a year in Weimar after graduating from high school, where she worked at the Buchenwald Memorial and staged Jura Soyfer’s “The End of the World” with young actors at the German National Theatre. She studied History and Political Science at Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as Playwriting in Charlottesville (USA) on a Fulbright scholarship. Following an internship in the editorial department of ZDF Magazin Royale, she has been studying documentary film directing and television journalism at the HFF Munich since 2021.
