ZANANEH

A public ladies' room in a park, located in the centre of Tehran. Run by an old woman, girls and women from the margin of Iran's society gather here, to talk, laugh or cry. They wash their hair here and pray or try the tschador on in front of the mirror. Runaway girls, drug addicts, prostitutes and even ordinary women, have found a heedful ear in an unusual place, where they are unveiled, both physically and mentally.

The women talk freely about their fates and problems. They all are sure: some how they will manage to become real "ladies" of Iranian society.
