Seligenthal, with its 62 nuns, is the biggest Cistercian convent in the world. They live there according to the age-old rules of their order: No speaking in the corridors, silence during mealtimes and four Divine offices a day. Still, the nuns are not completely cut off from the world: They drive cars, the youngest one used to work as a chef in the Frankfort Sheraton, and most of them are dedicated teachers. They built Bolivia's biggest school in La Paz in 1971 and their own convent school welcomes 1400 schoolgirls.

An impressive portrait of the life of these nuns serving God and mankind.
