At the age of 21, the German-Colombian leaves his home country for political reasons. He also gets involved in cultural politics in Germany alongside his studies and thus finds his way to film. He studies at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken. DIE KUNDIN is his first long documentary film.
