To most people, "skinhead" means three words: violence, hate and racism. Their movement is considered to be one of the most dangerous subcultures in western society.

But who are skins and where did they come from?

Director Daniel Schweizer takes us back to the roots, back to – Jamaica! This is where Ska music, which is inextricably connected to the Skinhead movement has its origins. In fact, black working class youths in England were the first to shave their heads, as a sign of protest against white racism in their country.

How could neo-fascists claim skinhead culture for themselves? Why were so many skins attracted to their movement?

Karole, a 22-year-old traditional skin girl is strictly anti-racist. She becomes our guide through England and France, to Germany and Scandinavia. Finally and inevitably, the film arrives in America. Here, skins on the right and on the left are slowly but surely descending into a violent culture war.

Skinhead Attitude is a "petrifying", riveting look deep into one of the most paradoxical and controversial subculture of our times.
