AMIR ARSAMES ESCANDARI – Born in Tehran in 1979. At the age of 8, Amir Arsames Escandari left Iran to seek refuge in Yugoslavia. Four years later he was also forced to leave this land of civil war. Since 1990 he has lived in Finland. As a youth he was already making short films with a High-8 camera and subsequently studied directing at University of Wales, Newport.
