Peter Heller first met the B. family in Cologne in 1975: a life with debts, installments, reminders, living with the certainty that the children will not be any different. For more than twenty years his camera has recorded the fear of two generations of failure and the hunger for middle class between dreams and fears. A unique film chronicle from the "latest economic miracle" - between 1976 and 1997.
