Diagnosis: pneumococcal meningitis. For Marie this means losing her hearing and sense of balance – irreversibly. Her new situation seems hopeless and without prospects. In search of relief the director offers herself as a test subject for a brain research team in USA. Afterwards she experiences a strange consciousness. In an attempt to unlock the enigmas of the brain and the psyche Marie does research with neurobiologist Krishnamurti and quantum physicist David Bohm._Using a diary format and insistent interviews NUR EINE FRAGE... deliberates on the healing process.
