"It’s like a fairytale. As you go along, it gets more and more creepy."

A stranger in a strange city. Prisoner of immobility. He lives in a big city, a place which doesn’t really exist anymore, a mere abstraction of lights, patterns and numbers. Lacking contact with the outside world, the stranger’s life is reduced to his daily routine, to the present moment, with no sense of past or future.

But he’s not dead yet – not as long as his hair is growing and his body breathing.

He’s alive and suffering.

"I just can’t take it any longer, this uncertainty, being at a loose end, with no future, no perspective, nothing."
